What does an Accessibility & Front-End Development Manager do?

A good question for an abstract title. My work is better described as leading the Accessibility, Front-End Performance, and Design Systems Development teams. Often, this means I am creating processes, gathering metrics, and coaching people to improve quality at every stage of our web and app experiences.

About me

I've been in the accessibility field for about a decade now, which is wild! I love systems-based games, write poetry and stories in my spare time, and I run a fully hand-rolled D&D game every week.

My players bashed a clan of bandits, and met a sentient pickle barrel named Vara, who they discovered was trapped in the desert. They offered to help her by gathering magical components to help her travel home, so she can become un-pickle barreled.
